Back on Kauai for the summer. I do miss NC BBQ, but Chicken in a Barrel will do until I get home.

20 March 1975...

I couldn't tell you what I was doing on many days when I was in High School.  But, thanks to my Mother saving this newspaper clipping, I can tell you what I was doing on 20 March, 1975.  Yes, that is me, not Gregg Stefanchick tagging out Craig Coward.  Gregg was my best friend and Shortstop, I played Second Base.  We all got quite a laugh when we read the photo caption. Not only did I tag out Craig on a perfect throw from Ronnie Reaves, but Craig never even made it to the bag.  I have the scars to prove it.  I had to leave the game with my wrist torn open in two places.  Gregg carried me to the hospital and afterwards we headed off to the beach on spring break.

Oh did I mention, I love baseball!!!

The Nuovo Shop is coming together.  I still have much organization to do but it is finally looking like a proper shop.  

Home Sweet Shop...

Back home, happy to see my wife and bird dog.  Had a GREAT time on Kauai, but now it is time to get serious about setting up shop.

My shop is a wreck now, but soon it will be nice and organized.

Windows, door and siding, we will try to finish up this week.  Weather permitting.

slap a few 2x4's and 2x6's together and you a have a new Studio for Mary Ann.

When this is complete, the organization of the Garage/Shop gets serious.

We have been busy the last few weeks, working on the Studio in the afternoons.  Only missed a couple of days because of rain.  I will post some photos of the soon to be shop in a few days.
